Time to go Racing
Here we are, the snow is melting, the rain is coming, the flood waters rising. It is time to go racing. The first Team NIBU race event of the spring season is the 20th Annual Decorah Time Trials.
The event is held on Saturday, April 25th in Decorah. Team NIBU will be working on a group to Head East and put on a show for the single track crowd.

I'm possibly hanging at the campground as early as Thursday afternoon, planning on staying 'till at least Monday a'noon. That's a whole lotta firewood to chop. Friday night is a good night to hang around fireside, because Saturday night is "race night". Early to bed, early to ride! If you plan to camp bring a motorhome, tent and / or prepare for all kinds of weather, rain, snow, wind, heat. In my opinion the best hotel is the Bluff's Inn, and if you tell them your coming for the race, they might shoot you a deal / room upgrade. The best stuff in Decorah is non-franchised. Food : you can go to Pizza Ranch, Subway, McDonalds, but your best value for dollar is Mabes, T-bock's (the awards are here), Albert's BBQ, Quinlan's grocery store. Decorah trails are strenuous. If you would like to preride the trails in the next few weeks, rattle my cage...you should know what you're getting into and I gotta practice wheelies!
