Last Chance
Here it is, your last chance for a group ride of this fine decade. Actually a decade from hell for the consensus. For me, I loved the decade. Great wife, great kids, great job, and great rides. Can't complain. let's celebrate what we can. This is your last chance to get together for a coffee, show up to work stinky, and test out your cold weather gear (until we start the "Teens").

The decade does not end until the end of 2010. It goes from 1 to 10 not 0 to 9.

but, tell that also to NPR Talk Of The Nation. Just heard a segment today about "Worst Ideas of the Decade" today. A few people wrote in stating the same thing (there's one more year left)... But it serves our purposes for this ride - so we go with it. End of the Decade Ride to Work day (and we will use it again on Dec 31st, 2010). We are in to recycling.

Technically speaking, we're perfectly accurate in having a end of the decade ride. A decade is defined by a period of 10 years. So, we're riding the last time for the last period of 10 years. Carry on.
